Selectmen Meeting Minutes
October 6, 2008

7:05 p.m. Chairman Egan called the meeting to order.
Item I Vote Borrowing against Stabilization – Mrs. Marini explained the borrowing against stabilization maybe necessary in the event the tax revenues are not received as quickly as needed. The tax will be send out later than anticipated.
MOTION by Colclough, second by Armstrong to authorize the Treasurer/Collector to borrow $750,000.00 against the Stabilization fund. Voted 5 – 0
Item II Approve Memorandums Agreement Highway & Clerical – Mr. Finglas informed the Board that the contracts for the Highway and Clerical have been ratified by the unions. The Memorandums highlight the contract changes.
MOTION by Armstrong, second by Colclough to ratify and sign the Memorandums of Agreement for the Highway and Clerical Unions. Voted 5 – 0
MOTION by Armstrong, second by Colclough to adjourn to Town Meeting. Voted 5 – 0
7:15 p.m. Adjourned to Town Meeting.
